Soup Kitchen Initiative

Our soup kitchen takes place across East London on a weekly basis, providing nutritious meals to those in need and ensuring no one in our community goes hungry. By partnering with local food suppliers, we will offer culturally appropriate meals that reflect the rich culinary heritage of African and Caribbean cultures. Volunteers from the community will be encouraged to participate, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Engagement Activities for the Windrush Generation

Recognising the invaluable contributions of the Windrush generation, we will organise engagement activities tailored to the needs of elderly members from this community. ENACT currently supports Windrush communities via community groups in London, Birmingham, and Leeds. These activities will include:

  • Storytelling Sessions: Providing a platform for sharing personal histories and experiences.

  • Craft Workshops: Engaging in traditional crafts and arts.

  • Cultural Celebrations: Organising events to celebrate significant cultural milestones and holidays.
